We’re Open!

Since our reopening in May, we have seen a steady increase in on-site member participation. The Culinary team is seeing members arriving as early as 7:30 am to prepare our infamous Breakfast Buffet. Business & Tech members are learning a whole new way to gather and use data, thanks to a new Clubhouse database created by the San Antonio Clubhouse. From article-writing to editing, formatting and photography, members of the ARTS team are knocking out quality newsletters each and every week. And let’s not forget our Multimedia team, working diligently on preparations for our August 26th telethon. We are busy people!

One of our newest members, Terrell Henry (you may remember him from a recent post about his role in the telethon) had this to say:

“I’m really glad the Academy is open because it allows me to stay active from morning to afternoon, and that way I can use the other half of my day to work on my personal goals. It’s also a place where I chase other real-world skills.”
