We welcomed Chief Deputy Kurt Hoffman
Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight is a big proponent of mental health services and has been an Academy Ambassador since our inception. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Sheriff’s Office and other community providers to support quality services in mental health recovery.
Chief Deputy Kurt Hoffman (pictured above) made an extended visit to the Academy this past week, seeing our programs in action, joining us for lunch and getting to know our members. We thank Chief Deputy Hoffman for his valuable time and look forward to deepening our relationship with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
Today I had the good fortune of touring the Academy and seeing the great work they are doing for our citizens that are dealing with mental health issues. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office values our relationship with community partners like the Academy and will always strive to help those with mental health issues lead productive and meaningful lives.
