The Academy offers outreach to Bayside Center for Behavioral Health

Thanks to Jill Hazzard for inviting the Academy to make a presentation to Bayside Center for Behavioral Health. William McKeever and Izzy DeMartine made the presentation to their social workers. Izzy says, “I was super excited to accompany William in making the presentation at Bayside. I love public speaking and enthusiastically shared my story on how the Academy is helping me to pursue my dream of a full-time job. I talked about some of the skill training that is offered. My favorite is Graphic Design and Multimedia. I love to make stories using the fantastic software at the Academy. The Bayside social workers were intrigued by my story and asked questions afterward, too.”

Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s Bayside Center for Behavioral Health offers timely, accessible mental health assessments, as well as referrals to the most appropriate level of care. Visiting providers, such as Bayside, is part of our efforts to get the word out about the Academy to families and potential applicants.
