Academy Helps Stock the Cupboards at the Church of the Palms
Our summer food drive is underway to help feed vulnerable families.
The Academy has once again partnered with Church of the Palms of Sarasota’s food pantry, to help end summer hunger. Children of lower-income families often rely on subsidized school lunches for their nourishment. When school is out, many are left vulnerable to hunger and malnutrition. The Academy will be collecting donations through the end of July. Drop-off hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Urgently needed items include:
- Soup
- Peanut butter
- Jelly
- Shelf-stable milk
- Macaroni and cheese
- Canned meat
- Granola bars
- Packages of cheese and crackers
