Academy Feels the Love at Clubhouse Giving Day

Deep gratitude goes out to our generous supporters on this first Clubhouse Giving Day.

June 1st marked the first annual Clubhouse Giving Day. As with most anything new, we didn’t know what to expect. 38 Clubhouses around the world participated in the inaugural event, as far away as Estonia.

While yesterday was the official Giving Day, Clubhouses were able to receive donations throughout the month of May, coinciding nicely with Mental Health Awareness month. Our base did not disappoint! Gifts began rolling in early in the month and they did not stop. All told, 57 donations were received, and a total of $28,830, including 1:1 matching gifts from our good friends at the Steinwachs Family Foundation.

Those funds are essential for us to maintain the quality that we offer. The pandemic hit us all where it hurts. Thanks to our generous families, friends, and donors, we can continue to provide exceptional quality meals; we can update our technology to keep up with industry standards; we can continue to offer relevant trainings and workshops that give our members competitive skills. In short, we can’t do it without our community of support, and we are definitely feeling the love. It sure is good to know that we are not alone.
