Academy at Glengary thanks the Suncoast Jeep Festival for their generosity
The Academy will use this donation to expand membership and reach more individuals who are seeking the opportunity for mental health recovery
Jeep owners, enthusiasts and area clubs gathered on September 13-14 for the Second Annual Suncoast Jeep Festival. The two-day event attracted a large local and regional audience. It included a live concert, Tug-O-Jeep, an obstacle course, raffles, food trucks, vendors and much more. Jeep owners are well-known for their generosity, and the Suncoast Jeep Festival was another example of this caring attitude. Proceeds from the event were distributed between four charities: Bridge a Life, Off Road United, Mission 22 and the Academy at Glengary.
The Academy will use this donation to expand membership and reach more individuals who are seeking the opportunity for mental health recovery. Vocational training, community reintegration, friendship, supported education and career development are all part of the journey for Academy members.
Organizers of the Suncoast Jeep Festival are already preparing for the Third Annual Festival, to be held in September 2020. We are deeply grateful to our area Jeep owners and enthusiasts for their generosity and kindness.
