Public Defender Offers Solutions

Member begins work with our newest Transitional Employment Partner - the Office of the Public Defender

Academy member, Ian Churchill, recently worked his first day at our newest Employment Partner – the Office of the Public Defender for the 12th Judicial Circuit. We are extremely grateful to the Honorable Larry Eger and his entire team for providing us with this wonderful professional opportunity.

In Ian’s words, “The Public Defenders Office has really been a milestone for me: getting my first job ever! It has helped me garner growth and maturity, and has made me become more independent.”

This new employment partnership provides the Academy with a 6-9 month Transitional Employment placement. Members will have the opportunity to work at the Office of the Public Defender, learn clerical skills, and earn a paycheck! We want to thank Larry Eger for offering yet another solution to rebuilding lives and restoring hope.
