2nd Annual Academy Telethon Coming Up Soon

Our 2nd Annual Academy Telethon is less than a month away, and our Multimedia team is hard at work, scripting, filming and editing the pre-recorded segments for this hour-long event. We are all having so much fun participating in the filming, but until the final results are revealed, we all have to wait and wonder if our scenes made the final cut, or if we are destined for the cutting room floor. It is no easy task for our team, but they are making the dream work!

Back by popular demand, the Telethon will once again be co-hosted by the always-entertaining Ambassador, Stewie “Jerry Lewis” Bitterman. And, as they did last year, our friends at the Steinwachs Family Foundation are providing a 1:1 match to our donations. There will be fun surprises and cameo appearances. We don’t want to say too much; you just have to tune in on August 26 at 7 p.m. at AcademySRQ.org/live.
